Hydrostatic level meters 4-20 mA output

LMK858 – Hydrostatic Level Gauge

The LMK858 plastic submersible probe is primarily designed for measuring the level of corrosive media. The probe can be used in dense media, such as sludge or other dense substances.

  • Ranges from 0 ... 40 cm H₂O to 0 ... 100 m H₂O
  • Accuracy 0.25% / 0.35% FSO
  • Diameter: 45 mm
  • Detachable cable assembly
  • Chemical resistance
  • PP-HT housing material
  • Connects to all FIEDLER stations via the level transmitter’s 4–20 mA analog output

Description

The LMK858 plastic submersible level sensor was developed to measure the level of heavily contaminated wastewater, river levels, and various corrosive media. Instead of the usual stainless steel diaphragm, the level meter features a special hydrostatic pressure sensor made of durable corundum ceramic.
The detachable cable assembly, separate from the level meter body, facilitates the replacement of a damaged or otherwise malfunctioning sensor.
The level meter connects to a Q2, H3, H7, STELA, or H1 station (telemetry unit) via a 4–20 mA analog current output. The level meter is also powered by the connected device.

Applications

  • Wastewater (measuring low levels in wastewater treatment and purification tanks, monitoring groundwater levels)
  • Corrosive media (monitoring the levels of various types of acids and alkalis)
