Measurement of Dissolved Oxygen and Blower Control

The correct oxygen level is crucial for biological processes in the activation tank—a deficiency leads to biomass death, while an excess results in unnecessarily high energy consumption. FIEDLER AMS offers an automated solution that controls the operation of aeration blowers based on measured values.

Automatic Control
Measurement and control of dissolved oxygen based on current needs
Prevention of extremes
Both insufficient and excessive aeration
Online monitoring
With access to data from anywhere via the CloudFM web application
How it works

How It Works

The system continuously measures the concentration of dissolved oxygen using DO sensors and controls blower operation based on these readings. The solution can be supplied with a calibration unit (for regular calibrations) or without one (for field installations), including the option for controlled backup in the event of a blower failure.

Where to Use It • Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) • Fish farming and aquatic environment protection • Live fish transport • Industrial water management

DATA VISUALIZATION IN THE CloudFM APP

The app is connected to devices that control the air pumps and collect data on dissolved oxygen levels. The data is then uploaded to a server and archived in a database that users can access via a web browser. As a user, you can view this data in a visually appealing format through graphs and tables, and you can customize the entire interface to suit your exact needs. The application also supports exports to several data formats and features an alert system that notifies you directly within the app and via SMS if any threshold values are exceeded or in the event of an emergency. If the dissolved oxygen level in the water is incorrect, the app sends a signal and activates the air pump. In the event of a blower malfunction, it activates a “backup” function. All of this operates within an easy-to-use interface that you can manage from a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Application

Measurement of Dissolved Oxygen and Blower Control

The system continuously measures the concentration of dissolved oxygen and automatically controls the aeration blowers based on the current value. This helps maintain an optimal amount of oxygen in the activation tank, prevent both insufficient and excessive aeration, and save energy. In the event of a blower failure, the system can automatically activate a backup blower and notify the user of the incident.
