Retention Tank Management

Paved surfaces and dense urban development limit the natural infiltration of rainwater. The FIEDLER AMS system allows for continuous monitoring of the retention tank’s status and automatically controls its operation, regulates rainwater runoff, and utilizes the retained water.

Controlled Water Discharge
Automatic control allows you to regulate water discharge from the tank based on the current water level and set conditions
Reduced Sewer System Load
Retaining and controlled discharge of rainwater helps limit peak runoff during heavy rainfall
Use of retained water
Rainwater can be used, for example, for irrigation, washing, or firefighting purposes
Protection of pumping equipment
When the water level drops, the system can automatically shut off the pump to prevent it from running dry
How it works

How It Works

Sensors monitor the water level and other parameters. Based on preset conditions, the telemetry unit controls the outlet, pump, or other drainage control elements. The reservoir’s operating status can be monitored remotely via CloudFM.

Where to Use It • Urban and built-up areas • Industrial sites and parking lots • Stormwater management systems • Tanks designed for process water or fire protection water

Software

CloudFM – A GOOD APP IS ESSENTIAL

The application is connected to sensors that collect data from retention tanks; this data is then uploaded to a server and archived in a database that users can access via a web browser. The application processes all measured data, which it then converts into statistics; as a user, you can view this data in a visually appealing format through graphs and tables, and you can customize the entire interface to suit your exact needs. The application also supports exports to several data formats and features an alert system that notifies you if any threshold values are exceeded or in the event of an emergency. You’ll gain a comprehensive overview and maximum control over the status of your retention tanks. All of this operates within an easy-to-use environment that you can manage from a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Application

Retention Tank Management

The app allows users to monitor the water level in retention tanks online and check their current status. The system supports automatic reservoir control—when water levels are too high, water can be drained in a controlled manner, and when levels are low, the pump is automatically deactivated. The solution also includes an alert system to notify users of unusual events.
