Monitoring the Water Level in a Well

A private well or retention tank can be a practical source of water for the home, garden, and other uses. Monitoring the water level allows you to keep track of the amount of available water and respond promptly to any drop in the level, which is especially important during periods of drought or when consumption is high.

How It Works

A suitable level sensor (float or pressure) is installed in the well or tank to continuously measure the water level. The data is automatically transmitted to the CloudFM system or displayed on a local indicator. Threshold values and alerts can be set for low water levels; this solution is also suitable for retention tanks or sumps.

H2 - Level Logger

The Level Logger H2 was designed to monitor water levels and flow rates in open watercourses and to monitor rainfall during the construction of local warning systems (LVS).
The device uses a GSM/GPRS+SMS modem, it transmits the measured data to a server database at regular intervals and, in the event of an emergency, sends warning SMS messages triggered by a threshold or gradient alarm for rising water levels or when the moving sum of precipitation exceeds a set value over a specified time interval.

PSH-30 - Float-Type Continuous Level Gauge

The PSH-30 measures the liquid level and the temperature of the level sensor, which may, with a certain delay, correspond to the temperature at the measurement point. Thanks to a modern measurement method, the level sensor achieves a resolution of 1 mm over a virtually unlimited measurement range. It allows for measuring level fluctuations over a range of up to 30 m. Only a single cable runs from the sensor, connecting it to the RS485 interface of the H3 unit or to the H1 Hydro Logger.
