How it works

How It Works

Automatic irrigation is controlled by the unit based on preset rules—you can set seasonal schedules, regular irrigation, and irrigation based on current soil and weather conditions. Based on the forecast, irrigation can be limited before rain or frost. Once configured, the system operates automatically without the need for staff intervention.

Software

CloudFM – A GOOD APP IS ESSENTIAL

The smart system is connected to the CloudFM app, which processes data from the devices; this data is then uploaded to a server and archived in a database that you can access via a web browser. The app fully manages your irrigation schedule based on the criteria you specify, but it can also automatically adapt to the weather thanks to the sensor-controlled “adaptive scheduling” feature, which prevents preset irrigation schedules from running if it has rained recently or if the soil is still moist. CloudFM converts all your data into statistics, and you, as the user, can view this data in a visually appealing format through graphs and tables; you can also customize the entire interface to suit your exact needs. The app also supports exports to several data formats and allows you to compare data with historical records, so you can easily determine which irrigation schedules were more effective. All of this operates within an easy-to-use environment that you can manage from a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

It continuously analyzes available data and adjusts both the amount and timing of irrigation so that water is used efficiently and plants receive the necessary amount of moisture.
