The ELM converter is designed for remote reading of electricity consumption. It can be used with electricity meters commonly used by power distribution companies. Using the supplied cable, the converter connects to FIEDLER data loggers via an RS485 bus using the MODBUS RTU protocol. The ELM converter enables infrared data communication with electricity meters in accordance with the ČSN EN 62056-21 standard in Protocol C mode, which defines bidirectional data exchange with switchable communication speeds.
