SR02 – Paddle Rain Gauge (200 cm²)

The SR02 is a tipping-bucket rain gauge with a collection area of 200 cm² designed to measure the amount of rain and other liquid precipitation using a tipping bucket. Each flip generates a pulse corresponding to 0.2 mm of precipitation. This technology is ideal for connecting to data loggers and telemetry stations for remote monitoring of precipitation and its intensity.

Description

The rain gauge is made of high-quality materials with high resistance to adverse weather conditions. The upper funnel, cylindrical casing, and support structure are made of an aluminum alloy, which ensures a long service life. Inside the rain gauge body is a mechanical tipping bucket with a magnetic contact closure and a spirit level for checking horizontal alignment. Connection is made via a terminal block, from which a pulse output for measurement is routed.
