The GX200 module is used for galvanic isolation of standard 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA current signals without the need for an auxiliary power supply. It draws power for its own operation directly from the input measurement signal, making it particularly suitable for isolating two-wire transducers powered via a 4–20 mA signal loop.
Galvanic isolation is achieved by a transformer—the input DC signal is modulated into AC and, after transmission, demodulated back into DC. The input circuit is protected against interference voltages, reverse polarity, and current overload.
