TEP06 – Measurement Transmitter for 6 Temperatures

The TEP06 measurement transducer is suitable for highly accurate measurement of up to six temperatures using standard and widely used Pt100 sensors.  The TEP06 transmitter, including the sensor cable terminations, is encapsulated in a protective polyurethane compound. This mechanical design even allows for continuous operation of the transmitter while submerged in water.

Description

Both the TEP06 and TEP06/S transducers are characterized by very high measurement accuracy. This accuracy is achieved through the use of Class A Pt100 temperature sensors, a digital filter (which eliminates noise), and a unique configuration of the measurement electronics within the transducer housing.
Since data is transmitted digitally from the TEP06 to a connected H3, H1, H7, H40, or STELA data logger via the RS485 bus, the connected unit cannot distort the measured temperature values in any way.
The typical resolution setting for temperature measurement is 0.1°C (one decimal place). If higher measurement sensitivity is required, archived channels can be stored with a resolution of 2 to 3 decimal places (0.01°C or 0.001°C).
