Temperature sensors

TEP1/K – Air Temperature Sensor

The TEP1/K is a rugged probe designed to measure air temperature in open environments. The sensor’s design minimizes the effects of wind, direct sunlight, and precipitation on the sensing element, ensuring reliable and reproducible data even in adverse weather conditions. The probe uses a Pt100 resistance temperature sensor and is compatible with a range of telemetry and measurement systems from FIEDLER AMS that support analog or resistance inputs.

  • Pt100 resistance temperature sensor
  • Perforated housing for ventilation and protection
  • Designed for outdoor use
  • High measurement stability and accuracy
  • Compatible with telemetry units and data logging systems

Description

The air temperature sensor is housed in a perforated enclosure that provides sufficient ventilation for the fastest possible response to changes in ambient temperature while protecting the sensor from direct exposure to the elements. The Pt100 resistance sensor is compatible with standard transmitters and data loggers, which facilitates its integration into existing systems.

Applications

  • Meteorological air temperature measurements
  • Remote monitoring applications
  • Wind and weather stations
  • Integration into telemetry systems
  • Technological and industrial applications
