Monitoring Water and Foam Levels in Fire Trucks – H500 Level Gauge

It is important for firefighters to have an accurate overview of the amount of water and foam in the vehicle's tanks during an operation. The H500 level gauge provides an immediate overview of the tank's status and allows firefighters to monitor the current amount of water in both liters and percentages.

Overview
Monitors water volume in liters and as a percentage, as well as the filling and emptying of the tank
Speed
LED indicator panels and an output for an external siren indicate the water level without the need for time-consuming checks
Efficient Access
An optional communication module allows you to monitor the status of tanks on multiple vehicles online
Durability
IP67 rating, non-flammable material, maintenance-free operation, and easy installation
How it works

How It Works

The H500 control unit uses a submersible level sensor that continuously measures the water level and calculates the volume in liters and as a percentage. Two LED panels on the sides of the vehicle (40 cm, 5 segments of 20% each) are visible from up to 150 m away and indicate critical levels (<20% or >90%) by flashing. With the GSM/GPRS communication module, the status of multiple vehicles can be monitored simultaneously.

Software

DATA VISUALIZATION IN THE CloudFM APP

The app is connected to a level sensor that collects data on the status of a fire truck’s water tank; this data is then uploaded to a server and archived in a database that users can access via a web browser. The app monitors every connected tank and then compiles the collected data into statistics; as a user, you can view this data all in one place in a visually appealing format through graphs and tables. This allows you to quickly and easily determine the current water volume in the tanks of all fire trucks, as well as the time required to fill and empty them, the frequency of use, and total consumption. The app also supports exporting data to several formats. All of this operates in an easy-to-use interface that you can manage from a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Application

Monitoring Water Levels in Fire Trucks

The system allows users to continuously monitor the current water level in fire truck tanks and display it in liters and as a percentage. Users have an overview of the tanks’ status and the time required to fill or empty them, and they receive alerts when levels reach a critical threshold. When using a communication module, the data can also be monitored online via a web application.
