ORP485 – Electrochemical Probe for Measuring Redox Potential

The ORP485 is a rugged electrochemical probe designed to measure redox (ORP) potential in various water applications. Thanks to its integrated electronics and galvanic isolation, it is ready for connection to data loggers and control systems with an RS485/Modbus RTU interface.

  • Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) measurement
  • RS485 digital output with Modbus RTU protocol
  • Galvanically isolated measurement and communication circuits
  • Integrated electrode with a platinum disc
  • Self-cleaning electrode design for a stable signal
  • Easy integration into measurement and monitoring systems

Description

The ORP485 probe combines a measuring electrode and electronics in a compact housing that contains a platinum measuring electrode and a silver chloride reference electrode separated by a diaphragm. Galvanically isolated measurement and communication circuits ensure a stable and accurate signal free from the influence of interfering potentials. The probe allows for redox potential measurements in the range of −2000 to +2000 mV and can simultaneously provide temperature data via a second channel. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

Applications

For precise measurement of the redox potential of water in industrial applications, wastewater treatment plants, environmental monitoring, and laboratory applications with RS485 connectivity.
