PO2D – Combined Surge Protection

This is a combined two-stage surge protection device for a two-wire signal line and a power line.

  • Combined two-stage surge protection for a two-wire signal line and a 22 to 24 V DC power line
  • Suitable for protecting RS485 data lines or 4-20 mA signal lines
  • Separate terminals for protecting the power supply line (without resistive coupling)
  • Designed to protect MaR control systems; install immediately upstream of the protected equipment
  • Protection against longitudinal surge overvoltage between the input terminals (a, b, c, d) and the protective earth (PE)
  • Protection against transverse overvoltage between individual terminals (a–b, c–d)
  • Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail

Description

The PO2D combined surge protector is primarily suitable for protecting RS485 data lines or 4–20 mA signal lines, as well as for protection against longitudinal surge overvoltage between the input terminals (a, b, c, d) and the protective earth (PE), or for protection against transverse overvoltage between individual terminals (a–b, c–d).
