VEGAPULS C 11 – Radar Level Transmitter

The VEGAPULS C 11 is an affordable radar level sensor designed as a higher-quality replacement for ultrasonic sensors, primarily in water supply and wastewater treatment. The sensor’s flood-resistant housing with an IP68 rating ensures long-term, maintenance-free operation.

  • High measurement accuracy of up to ±5 mm

Description

The radar level sensor transmits a frequency-modulated radar signal via an antenna system. The signal frequency varies in a sawtooth pattern. The transmitted signal, after being reflected by the medium, is received by the antenna as an echo with a shifted frequency. The frequency shift is proportional to the measured distance.
